Hope on Hopkins Distillery was founded on the elusive dream of many white-collar workers toiling in cubicle walls: Lucy Beard and Leigh Lisk "abandoned" London to found the distillery in Cape Town, South Africa for the purpose of making gin. It is based upon the Mediterranean style of gin, which features more floral and citrus notes than the classic London dry styles of heavy juniper flavors.
