D1 "Daringly Dry" London gin is made in traditional pot still fashion using a classic set of botanicals including juniper (naturally), coriander, orange, lemon, angelica, cassia, orris, almond, and liquorice (the almond being a touch unusual). They say the "daring kick" comes from nettle, perhaps the only gin on the market to use nettle as a botanical. Despite the nettle and almond, we have opted to list this as a traditional dry gin, suggesting a juniper-forward flavor for the classic range of gin cocktails. The bottle itself was designed with Jacky Tsai featuring the Floral Skull with various English iconography. It is bottled at a relatively light 80 proof. They suggest serving in a Gin-and-Tonic with a garnish of mint leaf.
