Hyde No.3
€56,99
Hyde 6yr Single Grain Irish Whiskey is made from a a blend of corn and barley (how this exactly qualifies as "single grain" is a bit unclear though we guess it simply means sourced from a single distillery even if the "grain" ought to be pluralized to "grains"). It is aged for 6 years in first fill ex-bourbon casks, meaning it is the first use of the barrel subsequent to the bourbon aging. (Special note: the marketing website at the time of this writing mentions ex-bourbon barrels sourced from jack Daniels... but, of course, Jack Daniels is not bourbon.)
Hibernia Distillers is located in West Cork, Ireland founded by Alan Hyde.
