When Will and Lucy Lowe launched this Japanese gin, they were creating and selling the first gin to be made exclusively from Japanese botanicals. Since then many other distillers have followed suit, opening up a whole new category in the industry.
Made from the following botanicals:
- Yuzu peel - providing refreshing citrus notes
- Shiso leaf - the herbaceous heart of the gin
- Toasted white sesame - gives texture and body
- Shansho pepper - delivers a complex, gentle spiced base note
As with all of the Cambridge Distillery Gins, each batch is distilled individually in volumes of less than two litres, under vacuum pressure to preserve the finest qualities of the botanicals and spirit used.
The perfect serve is a martini.
