Monin was founded by George Monin in 1912. It has been family-owned through 3 generations of ownership and today serves both the cocktail and coffee crowds with a variety of innovative flavors. They also offer consulting services to the beverage industry for flavors and tastes. Today, they are a large company offering, in their words, "over 100 flavors available in over 100 countries." They make a special emphasis on not using high fructose corn syrup in any of their products.
Monin Apricot syrup is made from pure cane sugar and other flavors to create a soft orange coloring and suggest looking for a slightly acidic aftertaste.
