Mozart Dry Chocolate Spirit is the high-proof expression offered by the chocolate specialists at the Mozart Distillerie. It is made from all-natural ingredients from a "groundbreaking idea" of distillation. The product is crystal clear from a pure chocolate macerate. The distillate itself is from a sugar-cane base rather than the more traditional grain alcohol, which will give it a different flavor profile. They say the spirit is "Very dry and crisp" with and reflects the "original xocolatl drink of the Aztecs." Amazingly, the spirit has zero sugar content.
Given the high proof and lack of sweetness, we've opted to classify this as a spirit rather than a liqueur.
