Scapegrace Gin is produced out of New Zealand. The gin is the in the classic, London dry style featuring juniper, orange, lemon, coriander, nutmeg, cardamom, liquorice, angelica, cloves, orris, cinnamon, cassia, and tangerine. These are all classic ingredients though suggest a slightly citrus-forward profile. They are particularly proud of the water, which they regard as the most natural and pure on earth after resting in mountain aquifers. The name is a reference or synonym for "rogue" and a nod to the sordid history of gin-making through the 19th century.
Rogue Society Distilling Company was founded in New Zealand for the express purpose of producing gin.
