Sipsmith Summer Cup 50cl

€32,00

Sipsmith was founded by Stamford Galsworthy and Fairfax Hall, who struck out on their own to start an independent distillery in 2009 at a small house in West London. Their runs are in very small batches of roughly 400 bottles at a time.

Sipsmith gin is made from a barley grain base (the same as malt whiskeys) and made in very small batches of 200-300 bottles at a time. The botanicals are selected from all over Europe, including Macedonian juniper, Bulgarian coriander, and Seville orange zest. The spirit is blended down with Lydwell spring water.

Sipsmith Summer Cup is a flavored infusion based upon their classic gin (and for this reason we've opted to classify this somewhat unclassifiable spirit as a flavored gin). It includes infusions of earl grey tea, lemon verbena, and cucumber among others presenting in a dark brown. The label claims it's "crying out" for lemonade and fruit.
