STOLI HARVEY MILK 70CL X 1

€33,95

This limited-edition bottle of Stoli’s classic premium vodka celebrates the life and legacy of Harvey Milk. Born in 1930, Harvey Bernard Milk became the firstly openly gay person to be elected to a high-profile public office when he was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977. Speaking afterwards, he said: “It’s not my victory, it’s yours and yours and yours. If a gay can win, it means there is hope that the system can work for all minorities if we fight. We’ve given them hope.” Tragically, he and the Mayor at the time were assassinated by a disgruntled colleague on 27 November 1978. During his short eleven-month tenure, Harvey Milk passed a bill banning discrimination in public accommodations, housing and employment on the bases of sexual orientation. His achievements as an advocate for positive change, human rights, LGBTQ+ equality and a more inclusive world have made him an icon. As Harvey Milk famously said: “Hope will never be silent.”

Launched in 1938, Stoli – formerly known as Stolichnaya – is one of the most loved vodkas on the planet. Made at Latvijas Balzams in Riga, Latvia, this classically styled spirit is exceptionally smooth, with delicate nuances of marshmallow, sugar-dusted pastries, orange peel, vanilla, straw, mint and pepper. Not satisfied with simply setting the benchmark for premium vodka and pioneering the flavoured vodka category, Stoli became one of the first brands to actively support the LGBTQ+ community in the early 1990s. And they continue to champion that noble cause today. Proceeds from these numbered bottles are donated to the Harvey Milk Foundation, who fight for equality and acceptance through their initiatives in Eastern Europe and the Baltic nations. So, mix yourself a vodka cocktail and, to quote Harvey Milk, “Get out of the bars and into the streets!”

Please drink responsibly. You must be 18+ to purchase.
