TeelingBrabazon 70cl Series 1

€90,00

Teeling Brabazon Bottling is a line of limited edition Irish whiskeys named in honor of William Brabazon. He is considered the man who created the business district of Newmarket in Dublin beginning in the 16th century and served as the site of the Teeing whiskey distillery in 1782. This is the 01 or first release in the planned series and specializes in sherry cask aging. The single malt whiskey is said to be selected from 6 sherry casks and limited to 12,500 bottles in total.

The Teeling Whiskey Company was founded on the concept of creating alternative Irish whiskey that has more personality and flavor than what they call the more "accessible" competition. It was founded on the Teeling family name, who claim a whiskey heritage going back to 1782 though the modern company was founded much more recently by Jack Teeling (son of John Teeling of the Cooley Distillery). Their company is blending, aging, and bottling whiskey from different sources much in the style of scotch independent bottlers and we note Teeling as the producer for that reason.
