Zignum Reposado 70cl

€55,95

Zignum Reposado is rested ("reposado") in oak for at least 6 months.

In 2011, the Beverage Testing Institute called it "Brilliantly crafted and very reminiscent of an aged artisan rum."

Zignum Reposado was awarded the Gold Medal at the 2010 SIP Awards.

Zignum mezcals are part of the new distillery designed for mezcal production in Oaxaca. (Mezcal and the more well-known tequila are both agave based Mexican spirits. Mezcals are produced outside of Jalisco and can be made with varieties of agave other than the Blue Weber, which is required for tequila.) The Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto Distillery was founded in 2008 and is part of an investment by Coca Cola of over $48 million, according to the write-up at Narco News. It is described as a modern facility, leveraging technology for highly efficient and clean manufacturing processes as opposed to the more traditional, peasant-driven, artisanal production of many mezcals.
