Don Julio tequilas are named for Julio Gonzales who founded the La Primavera distillery in 1942 in order to control all the process of tequila craft from harvesting to bottling.
Don Julio Reposado tequila is rested in oak for "up to" 11 months (a bit longer than the required 6). It is said to have hints of cinnamon and dark chocolate.
In March, 2015, liquor giant Diageo completed the acquisition of the Don Julio brand from Jose Cuervo in exchange for the Bushmills Irish whiskey brand and cash.

Nuestra Soledad is a line of mezcal featuring 100% Espadin agave, a style of mezcal traditional in the Oaxaca region (compare to Blue Weber agave required for tequila, itself a type of mezcal). San Cosme mezcal is named for Saint Cosmas, the patron saint of doctors. It is sourced from an undisclosed distillery in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is made from a base of 100% Espadin agave, a popular form of agave for the traditional mezcaliers of Oaxaca. The agave is baked in traditional stone lined fire pits and fermented in wooden tubs, following centuries-long practice. The smoke from the fires gives the mezcal its characteristic smoky flavor.

Enmascarado 54 is their 54 proof version (actually, just a touch higher) and made from 100% espadin agave. They claim it is 100% organically produced and the harvested agave cooked in traditional stone ovens. The bottling proof is where it sits coming off the still and is uncut by water, offering all the flavors (and alcohol strength) of the agave.
